Terms of service
These cover the website and the demos on it. The section you should genuinely read is the second one, about the demos - particularly the duty calculator, whose figures are invented and must not be used to clear anything.

1. About these terms
These terms cover your use of the website, including the live demo applications. They are not the contract for a software project - that is a separate written agreement covering scope, price, timeline, ownership and support, agreed before any work begins.
The site is operated by ThaDigital Enterprise, a trading name of a sole practitioner based in Sri Lanka. By using the site you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use it.
2. The live demos - important
The demo applications on this site exist to show how our software behaves. Please treat them accordingly.
Every figure, name, product, rate, member, shipment and balance in the demos is invented. They are illustrations, not data. Nothing in them is drawn from any real business, and no client system or client information appears anywhere on this website.
The import duty and HS classification demo deserves a specific warning. Its tariff rates, thresholds and cascade are invented or simplified for demonstration. It is a teaching model of how such a calculation is structured. It is not tax advice, not legal advice, not official tariff data, and must not be relied on for any actual import, declaration, valuation or commercial decision. Always verify against the current gazetted tariff and with Sri Lanka Customs or a licensed clearing agent.
The same applies in principle to every other demo: the pricing engine, the ledger and the costing figures are illustrative. Do not use any output from this website as the basis for a financial, tax or accounting decision.
3. Using the site
You may read the site, use the demos, and share links to it freely. Please do not:
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the site or its infrastructure.
- Interfere with its operation, or attempt to disrupt it for other people.
- Scrape or copy the site wholesale in order to reproduce it as your own.
- Use it for anything unlawful, or in a way that infringes somebody else's rights.
You may quote short extracts with attribution and a link. If you would like to use something more substantial, just ask - the answer is usually yes.
4. Intellectual property
The design, text, code and demo applications on this site are ours, except where stated otherwise. The ThaDigital name and logo are ours and may not be used to represent or imply a relationship that does not exist.
For client work, ownership is a matter for the project agreement, and our default position is unambiguous: you own your data absolutely and permanently, in an open, documented format, exportable on request at any time and at no charge. Ownership and licensing of the software itself is set out in the project agreement, in writing, before you commit to anything.
5. Accuracy of what is written here
We take care to describe our capability and our approach accurately, and everything on this site is written to be true. Even so, the site is provided for information. It is not a quotation, not an offer, and not a warranty about what any particular project will cost, contain or achieve. Those commitments are made in a written project agreement, and only there.
Descriptions of delivered work are anonymised deliberately, and details that could identify a client have been generalised or omitted. Nothing on the case studies page should be read as a representation about any identifiable business.
6. Links and third-party services
The site links to third-party services - WhatsApp, your email program, and occasionally external references. We do not control those services and are not responsible for their content or their handling of your information. Their own terms and privacy policies apply once you are there.
The site itself relies on Vercel for hosting and Google Fonts for typefaces, as described in our privacy policy.
7. Liability
The website and demos are provided “as is”. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted or error-free, and to the extent permitted by law we exclude liability for loss arising from use of this website - including any reliance placed on demo output, which as set out above is invented.
Nothing here limits liability for fraud, for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded. Liability in respect of a software project is dealt with in that project's own agreement and is not affected by this section.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka, and the courts of Sri Lanka have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
If a disagreement arises, we would ask you to raise it with us first at . In our experience almost everything is resolved by a conversation.
9. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. The version published here, with the date at the top, is the one that applies. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated version.
These terms were last updated on 8 September 2026.
